About Melanie Feith

Melanie Feith is a compassionate assessment clinician who aims to bring diagnostic clarity to her clients as well as aid in treatment planning. Despite psychological assessment being a short-term process, Melanie believes that all assessments are therapeutic in nature, and she aims to provide ongoing support throughout the entire assessment experience. She also understands that psychological assessment can appear intimidating, or elusive in nature, and because of this she aims to be transparent with all her clients in efforts to make them feel more comfortable and knowledgeable regarding the assessment experience and their psychological health.

Melanie’s approach to psychological assessment starts with recognizing that every client possesses both strengths and weaknesses; therefore, she understands the necessity of taking a strengths-based approach to psychological report-writing. Melanie has experience in both socioemotional and neuropsychological testing and has worked with individuals across the lifespan with varying reasons for referral. While Melanie enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life, her clinical interests include working within the LGBTQ+ community and with adolescents and young adults.

Melanie holds a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from DePaul University. She was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois before moving to Chicago to pursue higher education.

In addition to psychological assessment, Melanie enjoys relaxing by Lake Michigan, listening to live music, and trying new desserts!
