About Lexxy Trujillo

Lexxy looks forward to connecting with clients who are beginning the brave first steps to take back the reins of their lives in addressing and working through identity, self-discovery, confidence, boundaries, daily life struggles, healing from trauma, transitions throughout life, anxiety, and depression. Overall, she aspires to assist in strengthening one’s trust in themselves and their ability to confidently navigate their own stressors and concerns.

With clients, Lexxy utilizes eclectic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She utilizes interventions and teachings from various theoretical backgrounds to assist in growth, development, and healing. When addressing the origins of pain and navigating processes of healing, she leans into insight-oriented and humanistic approaches. This leads her to draw from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Gestalt. When building skills to address symptoms, she leans into action-oriented approaches. This leads her to draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Empathy, encouragement, and positive affirmation are Lexxy’s personal pillars when holding space with clients. It is her hope that in promoting those pillars, each client feels seen and heard, in all of their uniqueness and individuality. She values and cherishes that the variance of human experience can be immensely vast, thus her services are culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Done alone, navigating the world and a journey of self-discovery can be a daunting challenge. Rather than pulling or pushing along, she intends to walk side by side with clients. She hopes to provide a safe space where they can build the skills needed to thrive, with gentle and affirming assistance.

Lexxy acquired a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity Christian College.
