About Stephanie Contreras

As a dedicated doctoral candidate, I specialize in using research-backed tests and assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans and accurate diagnoses. My expertise in psychological testing is particularly beneficial for children and young adults facing challenges in school, whether due to aptitude issues, learning disabilities, or other difficulties.

I aim to help individuals understand the underlying reasons behind their problems, whether at work, in personal relationships, or other areas of life. By providing individualized recommendation plans, I address specific behavioral, social, emotional, and academic concerns, guiding patients towards personal growth, informed decision-making, and targeted interventions.

I work with clients ranging from ages 3 to 100+ and am proficient in conducting psychological evaluations and providing feedback in both English and Spanish. With over 300 psychological evaluations completed in private practice, rehabilitation and nursing homes, schools, hospitals, and community centers, I bring extensive experience to my practice.

In addition to my core expertise, I have received advanced training in multicultural competency, asylum and refugee evaluations, and neuropsychiatric assessments. My goal is to empower my patients with a deeper understanding of themselves, fostering personal growth and effective, long-lasting solutions.
