Jonas Olczyk, MA

 

Jonas Olczyk, MAJonas Olczyk works with a wide variety of clients (ages 13+) and issues and aims to tailor the counseling experience per client. With the individualized counseling experience, Jonas wants to help you reach your goals and see the change that you desire. Jonas is skilled at helping you set goals, identify strengths and resources that can help achieve those goals. Jonas believes we can get stuck in patterns, and counseling can help us move forward and change our negative patterns to more positive ones.

You will be met with an empathetic, respectful, and positive approach, balanced with humor and compassion. Jonas often turns to Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), aiming to adapt his approach to work with each client’s individual needs.

Jonas Olczyk graduated from Lewis University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During his time at Lewis, Jonas was a student-athlete and competed with the Lewis Men’s Swim Team and as a graduate student joined its coaching staff. Prior to Lewis University, Jonas swam on the Danish National Swim Team. Born in Denmark, Jonas comes with a unique perspective to life and counseling.

In his free time, Jonas enjoys spending time with his dog, cooking, and watching Arsenal play in the premier league.
