Cheryl Frommelt, MS, LCPC, LMFT
Cheryl is passionate about helping people achieve balanced and healthy lives. With 25 years of experience providing individual, marital and family therapy services, Cheryl believes everyone has inherent strengths and the ability to produce solutions.
“I see myself as a collaborator,” Cheryl remarked. “I work alongside my clients to help them achieve their goals. I have a fundamental respect and belief that people have the ability to help themselves.”
Cheryl specializes in relational, marital/premarital and blended family issues. She has expertise working with those who have experienced trauma as well as people struggling with depression, anxiety, stress and anger management, grief and loss, and infertility.
Cheryl identifies with the strengths and resiliencies of all of those she works with and helps her clients identify the beliefs and or stressors that are impeding their sense of well-being.
Cheryl believes everyone’s universal needs for attachment, intimacy and connection are the foundations of all healthy relationships.
Cheryl enjoys working with premarital couples as a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator.
Cheryl’s respect for others, compassion, and gentle sense of humor, provide a safe environment for clients to express themselves in the healing process.
Cheryl received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology Degree from Benedictine University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is certified in Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). Cheryl is a Certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator. Cheryl is certified in Primary Care Behavioral Health.
As the Clinical Director, she is committed to ensuring the highest clinical services as well as providing clinical supervision to other professionals.
