​Dr. Anne Krick, Psy.D.

Dr. Anne Krick is a Clinical Psychologist with 32 years of experience working in individual, couples and group modalities. She works with clients in an empathetic, caring and non-judgmental manner, the aim being to increase the client’s self-awareness, self-confidence and knowledge to help them navigate the mental health and/or life issues they are dealing with.

Her professional experience includes work in a mental health clinic, a woman’s shelter, and a Christian Counseling organization as well as work in a general therapy practice providing help for anxiety, depression, and anger management. Most recently, Dr. Krick specialized in using cognitive behavioral therapy to help men dealing with sexual addiction. In addition, she has experience providing therapy for the spouses and adult children of such men. Aging issues and grief work have become a recent specialty.

Recently Dr. Krick began volunteering for the National Suicide Hotline and a local Depression hotline. Her hobbies include quilting, taking her 70 lb. Weimaraner rescue dog to the park and visiting many of our wonderful National Parks with her husband of 55 years.

Dr. Krick received a Master of Counseling Psychology from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology – Argosy University in Chicago.  Going back to school later in life, after raising a family, she also draws on considerable life experience which supplements her academic education.
